Clement Yang
Music Arranger. Music Producer, Guitarist, Bassist
Having learnt everything on his own, Clement has come a long way in the music industry. His musical journey started from strumming a few chords to joining and eventually leading bands. Since then, Clement has embarked on learning everything he can about music and has gone on to play in many different live music venues, including Hood Bar and Café, Hard Rock Café, Wala Wala and Harry’s. He has also performed at events and functions like the Singapore F1 Race, Esplanade New Year’s Countdown, SPH E Awards etc. Besides playing music live, Clement now also produces music. He has composed, arranged, Mixed and produced for clients like Changi Airport Group, Mediacorp as well as Artists like Ruby Chen, Nen and more.
Clement is involved in the Mando-pop scene and has done projects and performances for David Tao 陶喆, Jaycee Chan 房祖名, Kit Chan 陈洁仪, Ling Kai 铃凯, Fan Fan 范玮琪, Jam Hsiao 萧敬腾, FIR, Wu Jiahui 伍家辉, Jones Ong 石康军, The Freshmen 插班生, Tay Kewei 郑可为, Serene Koong 龚芝怡, Chen Wei Lian 陈伟连and many others. On top of that, Clement was also involved in the original soundtrack for local movies like 881 and 12 Lotus, and for the musical “Liao Zhai Rocks!”.
Most recently, Clement was the music director for the band that played for Singapore Day 2015 in Shanghai. He was also a mentor in the National Arts Council’s NOISE program for 2015.
