Biography

Reina has two passions in life – Music and Writing. Her parents used to own a music store when she was a child and that was where she spent most of her childhood, being exposed to various genres of music. She started penning lyrics as a hobby since her days in school and decided to pursue her interest more professionally by joining Funkie Monkies as a lyricist. She eventually left her job as a Marketing Director to become a full-time writer. Besides lyrics, Reina also writes film and video scripts for film production studios, corporate companies and educational institutions. She does drama subtitles for a cable television network, and is a freelance copywriter and translator (English, Chinese, Japanese). Reina also teaches Japanese language as an associate lecturer in a local tertiary institution.
