Biography

Ruijie works in the area of marketing and branding, and writing is her passion both inside and outside of work. As an FM-exclusive writer, she cherishes the opportunity to be able to channel feelings and stories into her lyrics, and apply insights she’s gained from her day job into the pursuit of creative work with commercial purpose and value. In her free time, she enjoys consuming stories and feeling feelings, especially from songs, poems and movies. Having spent 10 school years playing the erhu in the Chinese Orchestra, she now finds happiness in singing and learning the keyboard and ukulele. She also manages the Facebook page ThePeers.SG that gathers creative writing from a group of friends that share the same passion for writing.
